EverGRO Cooperative Honors Late Board Member, Wayne Tatum

Wayne Tatum Conference Room dedication

EverGRO FS Cooperative recently dedicated the conference room located at its corporate headquarters in Orange, Virginia, by naming it after Wayne Tatum who passed away on July 29th of this year. Family members along with friends, former and present board members, were on hand for a special ceremony in which a permanent plaque in his honor was unveiled. General Manager, Justin Dreckman, made comments to show appreciation for Wayne’s many years of service and support for the coop.

“We could never put into words how truly grateful we are for the time and effort Wayne put into his community and our cooperative,” said Dreckman. “Wayne’s legacy will continue to shape our path forward and will remain a part of all we do.”

For over 30 years, Wayne helped guide EverGRO through seasons of growth and challenges. He was a driving force in the decision-making process and consistently put the needs of farmers and members first. He had a deep commitment to the agriculture community and the EverGRO cooperative, which was unwavering, even in his final months.
